Heating & Serving Instructions

1. Microwave Heating – Curries & Payasam

Suitable for: Sambar Curry, Avial Curry, Kalan Curry, Olan, Parippu Curry, Koottu Curry, Erissery, Idichakka Thoran, Payar Mezhukkupuratti, Pineapple Kichadi, Ada Pradhaman, Gothambu Payasam, Kadum Payasam and Pavakka Kondattam.

Thaw the required quantity to room temperature.
Transfer to a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave on high for approximately 1–2 minutes or until adequately heated.
Avoid overheating, as this may affect freshness and quality.
Do not refreeze once thawed.

2. Ready-to-Serve Items – No Heating Required

Suitable for: Banana Chips, Sarkkaravaratti, Mango Pickle, Vaduthapuli Naranga and Ginger Pickle.

Thaw to room temperature where required.
Serve directly.

3. Frying Method – Pappadam

Heat oil in a frying pan.
Fry each pappadam for approximately 2–3 seconds on each side, or until puffed and crisp.
Drain excess oil and serve immediately.
Once cooled, store any leftover fried pappadams in an airtight container.
